The Chennai Metro project is a mass rapid transit system operating in the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, India. Chennai Metro Project Phase 2 will cover a total network length of 118.9 km connecting 50 stations in Line-3 from Madhavaram Milk Colony to Sipcot; Line-4 has 31 stations from Lighthouse to Poonamallee Bus Depot and line-5 has 46 stations from Madhavaram to Sholinganallur.
