Green Line Metro Route Kolkata (Line-2)
The Green Line Metro in Kolkata is the first and biggest underwater metro tunnel in India. The East – West line which would connect Howrah and Sealdah Railway Station.
It consists of 12 active stations, but currently of two distinctly operational sections from Salt Lake Sector-V to Sealdah, and Esplanade to Howrah Maidan. Esplanade to Sealdah metro not running , because some land-use problem.
It will cover a distance of 16.6 km (10.314 mi).
