about the project
The Surat Metro Rail Phase-I project is a proposed rail-based mass rapid transit system to be operated in the city of Surat in Gujarat, India. Surat Metro Project Phase-I will cover a total network of 21.61 km which will connect 20 stations in Corridor-1 from Sarthana to Dream City and 18 stations in Corridor-2 from Bhesan to Saroli.
Corridor 1 Station: Sarthana, Nature Park, Varacha Chopti, Kapodara Patiya, Labheshwar Chowk, Central Warehouse, Surat, Masakati Hospital, Chowk Bazar, Gandhi Bagh, Kadarsha Ni Nal, Majura Gate, Rupali Canal, Rupali Canal, Althan Tenament, Althal Gan, Vip Road, Women’s ITI, Bhimrad, Convention Center and Dream City.
Corridor 2 Stations: Bhesan, Botanical Garden, Ugat Warigriha, Palanpur Road, LP Savani School, Performing Art Centre, Adanjan Gam, Aquarium, Badri Narayan Mandir, Athva Chopti, Majura Gate, Udhna Dawa, Kamela Darwaza, Anjana Farm, Modal Town, Magod, Bharat Center Hospital and Saroli.
