Ahmedabad Metro Station: –

Ahmedabad Metro is a rapid transit system for the cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar in Gujarat state of India. It is the 12th metro system in India. The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) was established in February 2010 and the 40.03 km long Phase–1 of the project was approved in October 2013 with two corridors, North–South and East–West.

The Phase-1 of the Ahmedabad Metro was inaugurated in two phases. The first phase, which was a 6.5 km section of the East-West corridor, was inaugurated on 4 March 2019 by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It opened to the public on 6 March 2019. The second phase, which was the remaining 33.5 km of the East-West corridor and the entire 18.5 km North-South corridor, was inaugurated on 30 September 2022 by Prime Minister Modi. The east–west corridor and the north–south corridor were opened to public on 2 October 2022 and 6 October 2022 respectively.

Fare Chart

• The following are the permissible fares for travel within the GMRC network:
  1. token
  2. smart card
  3. Provisional paper ticket (to be used in case of AFC system failure)
• Only children under 3 feet (90 cm) in height are allowed to travel with an adult.
• The purchased token will be valid for use on the business day of purchase. The working day will be treated as per the applicable time table for Revenue Services.
• Travellers can purchase Fair Media/Products by paying through Cash or POS (Debit/Credit Card).

Refund of Token: Only unused CST (not used for admission) can be refunded within 30 minutes from the time of issue

Maximum permissible time: 20 minutes in case of exit from the same station and 90 minutes in case of exit from another station.

Luggage Limit:Passenger is allowed to carry 25 kg of baggage and 80 cm x 50 cm x 30 cm (length x width x height) baggage. Goods of size and/or weight in excess of this limit will not be permitted.

Punishment:

1. A fine of Rs.200/- will be paid if caught attempting to take the token outside the GMRC premises.
2. Fine of Rs.10/- per hour per person subject to a maximum of Rs. 50/- per person for staying in the paid area for more than the maximum permissible time.
3. If the passenger is found without valid ticket in the paid area, then the passenger will have to pay a fine of Rs.50/- plus Rs.

Pune Metro Station :

Pune Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Pune, India. The system comprises 3 lines with a combined length of 54.14 km, of which 21.75 km on two lines are operational as of August 2023.

The Purple Line runs from PCMC Bhavan in Pimpri to Swargate. The 16.59 km line is elevated till Range Hills with 9 stations and goes underground up to Swargate with 5 stations. This route runs via Nashik Phata, Khadki and Shivajinagar. The maintenance depot for this line will be located near the Range Hills station on the land acquired from the College of Agriculture. The 5.09 km long underground section of Purple Line from Agriculture College to Swargate is being carried out in two packages: 1. Agriculture college to Budhwar Peth; 2. Budhwar Peth to Swargate.

Delhi Metro Station:

Delhi Metro is the largest metro network in India, spanning across 389 km and serving 285 stations. It is operated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and has six operational lines, including the Red Line, Yellow Line, Blue Line, Green Line, Violet Line, and Pink Line. Note:

Special provision for Smart Card users

• 10% discount continues on every journey made by the passengers using Smart Card.
• An additional 10% discount will also be given to the passengers using smart card who exit from Metro system during off peak hours, i.e.
  • Start of revenue services to 08:00 AM.
  • From 12 Noon to 05:00 PM.
  • From 09:00 PM to closing of revenue services.
• The discount is applicable from Monday to Saturday only except National Holidays.

Tourist Card

• Tourist Card for 1 day and 3 days validay will be available for Rs.200/- and Rs. 500/- respectively. This includes refundable security deposit of Rs. 50/-.

Kolkata Metro:

The Kolkata Metro is the first metro network in India, inaugurated in 1984. It is operated by the Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation (KMRC) and has a total length of 32 km. The Kolkata Metro has only one operational line, connecting Noapara to Kavi Subhash. It provides easy access to several tourist attractions, such as the Victoria Memorial and Howrah Bridge.

• Two new types of Tourist Smart Cards are available Tourist Smart Card – I and Tourist Smart Card – II. This type of smart card is for tourists and have unlimited rides.
• Tourist Cards cost ₹250, valid for a day, and ₹550, valid for three days. A security deposit of ₹60 is also charged.
• Refundable security deposit of Rs. 100 paybale at the time of purchase.
